When songwriter Gordon Schwinn collapses and is rushed to the hospital for emergency brain surgery, he is forced to confront his greatest fears, his strained relationships, and the unfinished songs still living inside him. Surrounded by an eccentric cast of characters—his anxious partner, overbearing mother, a relentlessly cheerful children’s TV host, and a parade of hospital staff—Gordon embarks on a surreal and uplifting journey toward healing and hope.
