Tangihanga, performed by Kristyl Neho, is a powerful 75-minute solo drama-comedy that dives into the heart of a Māori whānau during a tangihanga. Jess’s father has died, and as the whānau gather at the marae, memories, tensions, and secrets unfold. Kristyl Neho shape-shifts into over 30 characters, capturing the comedy, chaos, heartbreak and love found in Māori whānau dynamics.
