Presented by an expert in Health and Safety and technical theatre, you’ll come away from this workshop with a greater level of understanding and confidence around Health and Safety and be able to use this knowledge at arts venues around Auckland.
Designed for theatre practitioners of all levels, this will especially suit those who have positions of responsibility such as stage managers, lighting team leaders, and designers. Filled with practical exercises, real-work theatre examples, and suggested documentation and templates this is a must-attend for anyone with Health and Safety responsibilities.
To encourage as many people to attend as possible, this two-and-a-half-hour workshop is entry by donation and includes refreshments and resources.

Teresa invites you to join her behind the scenes of Tadpole Theatre’s May season to see how she runs her productions – from prop tables to spike marks, script notation to cues, she’ll use her very real production documents and live stage to explain how she gets things done.
This four-hour workshop, held on a Saturday, is just $30 – an absolute bargain to learn from one of NZ’s leading theatre experts.

Based on the classic board game and adapted from the cult classic comedy film. Six blackmail victims are invited to an isolated mansion by a man who knows a dark secret from each of their pasts. On arrival, each is given a pseudonym, before being introduced to the blackmailer. Each is handed a weapon, at which point the lights are switched off and the blackmailer is killed. Murder mystery soon gives way to hilarious comedy as they all race to discover who amongst them is the killer.
